Product Description
In 2022, this dry, crisp, medium - bodied white blend hails from Simonsberg - Paarl, South Africa. It's crafted by a female - owned winery, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms dating back to 1692, just an hour outside Cape Town. Spanning over 200 hectares, the estate has a garden, hotel, and restaurant. Composed of 49% Chenin Blanc, 21% Chardonnay, 14% Viognier, 10% Sémillon, and 6% Sauvignon Blanc, it offers complex and refreshing tropical fruit flavors like pineapple, lime, and melon. Ideal to pair with vegetable dishes or seafood pasta.
To enjoy this wine, simply chill it in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. When pouring, use a proper wine glass to enhance the aroma. There aren't many special storage requirements, but keep it in a cool, dark place if you have some left. You can drink it right after opening, but it'll taste even better if you let it breathe for about 15 - 20 minutes. It's a great choice for casual dinners or special occasions. Just remember, if you're driving, don't overindulge. And always pair it with vegetable dishes or seafood pasta to fully savor its unique taste.
