Bedrock - California Syrah

In 2007, Morgan Twain - Peterson initiated Bedrock Wine Co. in a converted chicken coop. Eventually, it found its home in Sonoma Valley, California. Today, the winery has multiple vineyards spanning 152 acres, with many vines planted in the late 1800s, almost 150 years old. This 2021 100% Syrah blends fruit from Santa Barbara and Sonoma vines. It's truly unique. With hints of purple fruit, licorice, and black pepper, this bold red wine is a perfect match for roasts and other hearty meat dishes.

To enjoy this Bedrock Syrah, first, let it breathe for about 30 minutes to an hour. Pour it into a wide - rimmed wine glass to enhance the aroma. When pairing, it goes great with roasts like beef or lamb, as well as other rich meat dishes. Keep the wine in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, try to finish it within 2 - 3 days and store it in the refrigerator with a cork to keep it fresh.
