This 2021 white wine from Chateau Laubarit in Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France, is a wonderful blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle. Situated about 50 kilometers south of Bordeaux, this family-owned estate has been in the family since 1780 and got organic certification in 1965. The region's terroir features a mix of clay and thick limestone with fossilized oysters in iron-rich soils, perfect for growing Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle grapes. Comprising 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, and 30% Muscadelle, this wine is crisp, aromatic, with balanced acidity. It offers delightful flavors of apple, peaches, and a hint of floral notes.
