This 2020 wine is crafted from 100% Souson grapes in Galicia, Spain. The Carreiro family has been running this winery since the 10th Century, focusing on Galician grape varieties to bring out the unique flavors of their land. The name 'Coto de Gomariz' is from the village 'Gomariz', which comes from 'Gomariza', meaning 'vine shoots'. The Sousón grape is their star varietal, grown on the youngest vines. Aged for 4 months, it softens the strong tannins in the grapes and enhances their distinct taste. It's bold, dry, with a good tannic structure.
