As the temperature rises and nature bursts into bloom, the 2021 Evolucio is the ultimate wine for May! This delightful blend consists of 85% dry, refreshing Furmint and 15% flavorful Harslevelu. Hailing from Tokaj, Hungary, near the borders of Slovakia and Ukraine, this winery boasts the world's oldest classification system dating back to 1730. The grapes are carefully hand - picked and destemmed from various vineyards situated 150 - 250 meters above sea level. Thanks to the volcanic soils, they soak up heat and reach perfect ripeness. Fermented in stainless steel, the wine showcases the pure essence of the grapes. On the nose, you'll detect a gentle hint of peach, followed by apricot, orange blossom, lemon, and a touch of almond on the palate. This adaptable wine pairs splendidly with creamy Tuscan chicken, grilled mackerel, or spicy lemon - garlic pasta.
