Product Description

This 2006 Champagne is a 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru. The Moncuit family has a long - standing grape - growing heritage in the Champagne region, dating back to the late 19th century. They started bottling estate - grown Champagnes in the early 1950s. As a classic Blanc de Blanc producer, they focus on getting the best from each single - vintage Grand Cru. They strongly believe in expressing the terroir of each wine and use only stainless - steel tanks, aging this cuvée for 9 years before release. The vines, at least 90 years old, benefit from this long aging, and the wine is now at its prime for drinking until the late 2020s. The 2006 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cuvée Nicole VV comes from old vines in Les Chétillons, a well - known area in Mesnil. Made only in great vintages, it offers pure flavors of candied pineapple and passion fruit, along with light spices, dried flowers, and a subtle nutty note. The finish has a lovely mineral lightness. It's a mature, complex Champagne with a dosage of 3.5 grams per liter.

When it comes to using this Champagne, it's perfect for toasting at special events or enjoying on its own. Simply chill it in the fridge for a few hours before opening. When opening, hold the bottle at a 45 - degree angle and gently twist the cork. Avoid pointing the bottle at anyone. After opening, if you don't finish the whole bottle, you can use a Champagne stopper to keep it fizzy and store it in the fridge. Try to consume it within a day or two for the best taste.
