NV. This sparkling wine is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on 20-year-old vines in Burgundy, France. Thevenet & Fils, a family-owned winery in southern Burgundy, has been in business for three generations. Starting with just three hectares, it now spans thirty hectares and produces a dozen appellations. The Thevenet family not only makes wine from their estate vineyards but also runs a successful grapevine nursery for family-owned domaines in Burgundy and Champagne. Chardonnay is the star here, and this bubbly is a prime example of their winemaking prowess. With a limited production of only 6,000 bottles per year and aged on lees for 67 months, it offers a delightful balance of brioche, green apple, and citrus flavors.
