Amuse Bouche - Red blend - Napa 2015

Amuse Bouche is Heidi Barrett's signature wine. Its vineyard location is a well - kept secret, known only to her and Robert Parker. Even the workers handling the grapes are unaware of where the fruit goes. It's believed to be on an eastern hillside in Rutherford. This wine is Merlot - based, crafted in the style of Pomerol. The 2015 vintage is 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc. Despite a slightly smaller crop in 2015, it boasts incredible flavor concentration and depth.

To enjoy this Amuse Bouche red blend, first let it breathe for about 30 minutes to an hour. This will open up its rich flavors. Pour it into a standard wine glass and take your time to savor the aroma and taste. It pairs well with red meats like steak or lamb. Keep it in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.
