Bako Ambrus - Keknyleu - Badscony

The 'Blue Stalk' white grape variety is indigenous and extremely rare. Nowadays, it's only cultivated in the Badacsony area of Hungary, close to the shores of Lake Balaton.

If you're lucky enough to get your hands on these grapes, use them to make some delicious white wine. Simply crush the grapes gently to release the juice. When storing the grapes, keep them in a cool and dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for too long as it may cause spoilage. As for maintenance, if you're growing these grapes, make sure they get enough sunlight and water regularly. But don't over - water them as they don't like soggy soil.
