Product Description
This 2022 red blend hails from Ballard Canyon, Santa Barbara, CA. It consists of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 5% Mourvedre, and 5% Sangiovese. The grapes are grown on ‘Cuadra’, a small vineyard block used in a special training program by the vineyard manager. The individual workers at the vineyard take great care of it, becoming real farmers instead of just laborers. Part of the profit goes back to the staff as a year - end bonus, making it a wine crafted with love.
La Cuadrilla bursts with notes of black plums and leather. It starts with red fruit and tangy, ripe cranberry flavors. You'll notice well - balanced acidity along with hints of mint leaves, chocolate, and peppercorns. With a medium tannic structure, it leaves a long - lasting red fruit finish.
Pair this wonderful wine with any grilled food, whether it's burgers or slow - cooked BBQ pork shoulder.
To enjoy this wine, first, let it breathe for about 30 minutes before pouring. You can open the bottle and let it sit at room temperature. Pour it into a wine glass and take your time to savor the aroma and flavors. When it comes to food pairing, as mentioned, it goes great with grilled items. If you're storing the wine, keep it in a cool, dark place. Once opened, try to finish it within a few days. You can keep the opened bottle in the fridge, but remember to let it come back to room temperature before drinking again. And don't forget, it's a wine made with love, so enjoy it with friends and family.
