Morella 'Mezzarosa' - Negroamaro/Primitivo Rosé - Puglia

This 2022 rosé wine from Morella, an organic and biodynamic winery in Manduria, Italy near Puglia and the sea, is a blend of 70% Negroamaro and 30% Primitivo. Grown on old vines with a low yield of just 4,000 bottles, the warm climate, sea breezes, and unique red, sandy clay - limestone - quartz soils give it a fresh, crisp body. With rosehip and hibiscus notes, it pairs perfectly with fried rockfish or shrimp puttanesca.

To enjoy this wine, simply chill it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Open the bottle and let it breathe for a few minutes before pouring. You can serve it in a standard wine glass. There aren't any special storage requirements, but it's best to keep it in a cool, dark place.
